ORGULLO BORICUA
Orgullo Borícua presents and celebrates Puerto Rican culture through music and dance incorporating children of all backgrounds. The ensemble consists of 24 dancers and musicians (14 of whom are18 years or younger) who focus on the traditional Puerto Rican rhythms of Bomba and Plena. This blend of African, Indian (Taino) and Spanish cultures brought to life by the congas, cuá, güícharo and panderos will have you bouncing as the dancers prance to the rhythm of the drums.
